Mango from Odisha,. It is a high yielding, mid season coloured mango variety which matures during May. It is semi-vigorous and regular. It is cultivated mainly in Mayurbhanj area of Odisha. It had moderate flowering intensity. Fruit are moderately sweet, medium quality with moderate pulp content.
Promising genotypes in respect of some desirable traits viz. red blush on peel, dark orange flesh, presence of turpentine flavor, excellent table quality, attractive fruits, very good storage life, medium sized fruit, low stone percentage, high pulp percentage, total soluble solids, total sugar, TSS to acid ratio, ascorbic acid content and carotenoid content are presented in this variety.
